Carmen studied Mathematics with a specialisation in Statistics at the Complutense University of Madrid. She is an expert in Technology and Business. From the areas of marketing, sales and customers she has drawn her career through the sectors of Consulting, Banking, Technology, and Wholesale Distribution. She is currently the Director of Business Intelligence at JE. She started her career at Watson Wyatt as a Junior Consultant specializing in data and analytics.

One of those years, she spent in London living an international experience. After WW came various consulting firms such as EY and software companies such as SAS, which were always in the field of analytics and data science. The next step was to work with end clients, forming part of the commercial team at Inversis and later as Director of the Customer, Market and Pricing department at Makro, before ending up at Just Eat where I am the Director of BI and Analytics. In addition, Carmen is a teacher and coordinator at ISDI in the Digital Marketing Master and supports all kinds of educational initiatives to bring technology and STEM professions to girls and women interested in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, and has recently promoted Women JET Tech Talks at Just Eat, a series of meetings at Just Eat that aim to raise awareness of the role of women in the technology sector.
